Ca' de l'ori (literally the laurel house) is a special place, set in the heart of the picturesque village of Nesso, far from the chaos of mass tourism. 

It's surrounded by nature in a peaceful and magical atmosphere.

It was completely renovated in 2007 and has a traditional atmosphere with original stone walls and floors. The living room, balconies and garden all offer good views of the brook, the village, a medieval castle ruin and Lake Como. There is a modest L shaped garden with enough space to eat outdoors and to enjoy the sun. The house fits 4 adults comfortably and has sleeping space for 6. The various floors are accessible by a spiral staircase.

Cannot be reached directly by car, a public free parking is 100m away. 

You can reach the bus stop by a staircase in about 10 minutes walking.

The house is in an area of the lake that has preserved its distinct and characteristic landscape. It is ideal for those seeking an oasis of tranquility to regenerate, but it is in a strategic position for mountain trekking or hiking, for walking rugged trails or gentle strolls on the lake shore, for water sports or for visiting gardens and villas by the lake. Do not miss a boat trip to catch the more romantic side of the lake and its villages. For a gourmet break the area is excellent, and related farm restaurants where you can taste the true flavors of tradition. Nearby there are pizzerias and restaurants for all budgets and tastes.

In the house you will find books and suggestions for a pleasant stay. 

On request, you can tke courses in Italian cooking or crafts.
