Location

Located less than 1km from Trapani Birgi Airport and from the Trapani - Palermo highway which allows you to easily reach Erice, Trapani, Segesta, Selinunte, San Vito Lo Capo, La Riserva dello Zingaro, etc ....  The historic center of Marsala is about 10 Km. About 2 km away there is the ferry for the island of Mothia. In a few hundred meters you’ll find the Kitesurfing and windsurfing sports facilities. Nearby it is possible to rent canoes, catamarans, pedal boats, small boats and bicycles. In the immediate vicinity pubs, restaurants / pizzerias, supermarkets, a station, a post office, pharmacy, supermarket, banks, churches.

Nightlife

The Stagnone also offers beautiful sunsets in the direction in which the Egadi Islands and Marsala itself are oriented. There are many restaurants where you can taste the Marsala cuisine, a perfect combination of Sicilian and Arab cuisine. In summer it is possible to reach the open-air summer disco Chiedilaluna, the Pe'ahi Club and the several clubs located along the coast; in a few more minutes you can taste aperitifs at "Le 5 Palme", ??"Anita Lounge Bar" or reach the historic center of Marsala with its Ancient Market: during the day the municipal fish market, by night the center of Marsala social life with its clubs offering live music and cocktails of all kinds.

Windless activities

Stagnone: stay in the area and cycle through the reserve between the salt pans and its views.

Erice: Delightful medieval hamlet on top of the homonymous mountain above the city of Trapani; it can be reached by car or by cableway from Trapani and it is possible to take advantage of a very spectacular and winding Down Hill route.

Trapani: provincial capital, a beautiful city rich in monuments.

Marsala: you can visit the historical cellars of Florio, the museums of the Punic wars (Baglio Anselmi) with the remains of the Punic ship.

Walking along the "Cassaro" and admire the Mother Church, Palazzo VII Aprile and the Flemish Tapestry Museum.

Closest beaches

The closest beaches to the Stagnone are in San Teodoro towards Trapani (5 minutes by car), and in the Lido Signorino towards Mazara del Vallo, beyond Marsala (30 minutes by car). If you want to make a daily visit, the Zingaro reserve and Scopello are less than an hour away by car. Crystal clear waters, emerald green for those wishing to enjoy the beauty of Sicilian nature.

Egadi Islands: Favignana, Levanzo and Marettimo, aawesome islands of Trapani area, can be reached with a rental inflatable boat (just 6 miles away), with organized tours easy to book or with the many daily hydrofoils that depart from Marsala and Trapani; truly unmissable and still far from mass tourism.
